STEP 2: Booting into Lineage OS – What is working and what is not
The default Lineage OS launcher is “Trebuchet Launcher” as shown above.
I’ve installed the Magisk Manager.apk file after booting into Lineage OS, to get the root working.
Now Let’s check out what is working and what is not.
LG Stylo 3 Plus Lineage OS Mobile Data not working – Fix
By default, the data doesn’t work when you boot into Lineage OS.
To get the data working, we need to go to Settings < More < Cellular Networks < Access Point Names as shown above.
Now Click on the “3 dots” icon at the top right corner, and Hit “Reset to default”
This step would get mobile data working. You can see the “LTE” icon appeared after the process got completed.
However, VoLTE doesn’t work. So you may face occasional dropped calls.
LG Stylo 3 Plus Lineage OS – NFC not working
NFC toggle keeps on switching between ON and OFF positions. You can check out the video. So, you need to revert back to Stock ROM if you wish to use Android Pay.
STEP 3: Lineage OS User Interface, Features & Performance as compared to LG Stock ROM
Above is the Lineage OS, Antutu score which is lower than Antutu score of LG Stock ROM.
I’ve taken 3 Antutu benchmark tests. You can see even the lowest Antutu score of Stock ROM is higher than that of Lineage OS.
The Geekbench score of Lineage OS and Stock ROM is near about the same.
The above benchmark scores are for Lineage OS and below is the Benchmark result of Stock ROM.
If you would ask me, I found Lineage OS quite fluid and felt like using it for sometime before switching back to Stock ROM.
You can check out the other features of Lineage OS in the below video –

Thanks for posting this detailed list of ROMs. Sadly, I use G pay all the time. Maybe that’ll get fixed at some point. I hope that I can get to Android Pie with a future update.
