Tap on the “Home” icon to move from the Backup page to the TWRP home page.
Hit “Install” and click on either Magisk.zip or SuperSU.zip file to install as desired.
You can flash either of them but not both.
I’ve flashed Magisk as I found it more useful with more features.
Swipe the bard towards the right to flash Magisk-v18.1.zip file
Tap on “Reboot System” to boot the phone.
STEP 3: Installing Magisk Manager & Checking Root Status
Open “Tools” Folder and Look for “File Manager”.
Open the File Manager and click on the transferred file, MagiskManager-v7.0.0.apk file to install it.
As we’re not installing the apk file from the play store, we’ve to enable “Unknown Sources” as shown above.
After turning on “Unknown sources” go back and try to install the Magisk.apk file once again.
This time the installation will go through.
Tap “OPEN” to run the Magisk Manager app.
Now that Magisk Manager is installed, let’s check the root status via the “Root Checker” app.
I’ve downloaded this app from the Play Store.
You can see the Root checker has verified the device as Rooted!
