Are you locked out on your LG Premier Pro Plus and you don’t remember the lock screen Pattern/PIN/Password? Don’t worry you’re are the right place.
In this post, we are going to learn how to hard reset Premier Pro plus to reach the home screen.
To reset the Premier Pro Plus we are going to put our phone into Recovery mode. After the reset, we need to complete the device setup by verifying with the previously synced Google account.
Let’s go through the whole procedure to reach the Premier Pro Plus home screen –
I forgot the LG Premier Pro Plus password. To bypass the lock screen we need to hard reset the phone using the volume down & power keys.
Let’s power off the device to enter Recovery Mode.
It’s not letting me turn off the device without unlocking the screen.
A similar error showed up when I tried to restart the phone. Now, the last option is a force restart.
Press and hold the volume down & power buttons until the phone restarts.
During the restart, as soon as the “LG Logo” appears, release only the power key for a moment and hold it again. Do not leave the volume button.
Keep pressing both the keys to land on the “Factory Data Reset” page.
We are now in Recovery Mode.
Tap the volume button to move from “No(Exit)” to “Yes”.
Now, select “Yes” with the power key.
Again go down from “No” to “Yes” and click the power key to reset your Premier Pro Plus.
After a few minutes, we reach the “Welcome” screen.
Hit “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.
Now, connect your phone to the internet using a Wifi network or Mobile Data.
After checking for updates, it brings me to the “Copy apps & data” screen.
Hit “Don’t copy” to proceed further.

Once again we are on the screen lock verification page, but there is one more option this time – “USE MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT INSTEAD”.
To get past this screen we either need the correct lock screen password or the previously synced Google account.
Enter your Google account credentials, and follow the on-screen prompts to land on the Premier Pro Plus home screen.
I don’t remember the last synced Google account, so I’ll use the below hack to bypass the Google lock –
How to bypass Google verification on LG Premier Pro Plus L555DL Tracfone, Straight Talk, Walmart Family Mobile, Total Wireless
From the Google verification page, go 2 steps back to the “Set Internet Connection” screen.
There are 2 buttons on the Internet connection page, the Wifi button & the Next button.
Tap these 2 buttons are the same time.
When done correctly it’ll bring you to the Google services page.
Accept the Google services terms and conditions.
We are now on the “Secure your phone” screen.
Choose the option – “Set up only pattern, pin, or password” and hit “Next”.
Using the “Protect your phone” page, we can add a new Pattern, PIN, or Password.
This will replace the old screen lock password.
I’ve selected the PIN option.
Tap “Next” on the Secure start-up screen.
Now, enter an easy-to-remember PIN code such as 1234
Re-enter the same code and hit “OK”.
We have successfully replaced the old screen lock password with this new PIN code.
After changing the lock, it brings me to the internet connection page.
Enable the Wifi connection and touch “Next”.
Select “Don’t copy” on the “Copy apps & data” page.
Instead of the screen lock PIN verification screen, it brought me to the “Google – Verify your account” page. Without the “Verify PIN” option we cannot bypass the FRP lock.
So, we are going to hard reset the phone once again to restore that page.
Power off your device to enter Recovery Mode.
Press and hold the volume down & power keys to boot the phone.
When the “LG logo” shows up, release the power button and hold it again. Do not leave the volume down key.
Keep pressing both buttons until it brings you to the factory data reset page.
In recovery mode, we need to use the power button & the volume rocker.
Move from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” with the volume key.
No, click the power key once.
Again go down from “No(Exit)” to “Yes” and reset the device with the power button.
After a few minutes, I’ve reached the “Welcome” page.
Click the forward button to proceed. Choose “Next” on the “New Second Screen” page.
Now, connect your phone to a Wifi network and tap “Next”.
Choose “Don’t copy” when you land on the “Copy apps & data” screen.
After resetting the device, the “Verify PIN” screen is restored.
Enter the PIN code 1234 and click “OK” to bypass the Google lock.
The PIN verification is successful. Use the “Skip” option to get past the Google sign-in screen.
Now, accept the Google services terms and conditions.
Hit “OK” on the “Review Additional Apps” screen.
Now, tick the “I agree” checkbox and click “Done”.
We have successfully landed on the LG Premier Pro Plus home screen after doing a hard reset.
